The Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (hereinafter referred to as the “PDPL”) was published in the Official Gazette dated April 7, 2016, with issue number 29677 and entered into force.

As the Company, whose detailed corporate information is published below, in accordance with the PDPL No. 6698 and as the Data Controller, your personal data will be recorded, stored, updated, disclosed/transferred to third parties if permitted by the legislation, classified, and processed in the ways specified in the PDPL, within the framework described on this page.

In accordance with the PDPL No. 6698, your personal data that you share with the Company may be obtained, recorded, stored, modified, rearranged, in short, subject to all kinds of processing performed on the data, fully or partially, automatically or by non-automatic means, provided that it is part of any data recording system. All kinds of operations performed on data within the scope of the PDPL are considered “processing of personal data.”

Purposes and Legal Reasons for Processing Your Personal Data:

The personal data you share is processed:

• To fulfill the requirements of the services we provide to customers and sellers, in accordance with the requirements of the contract and technology, to improve the products and services offered by the sellers, and to contact you and provide information about the campaigns and services of the SELLERS,
• To record identity, address, and other necessary information to determine the information of the transaction holder in accordance with the Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, the Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers, and the Regulation on Service Providers and Intermediary Service Providers in Electronic Commerce published in the Official Gazette dated 26.08.2015 with issue number 29457, the Distance Contracts Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated 27.11.2014 with issue number 29188 and other relevant legislation,
• To arrange all records and documents that will be the basis for payment systems, electronic contracts, or paper-based transactions, which are mandatory in the field of Banking and Electronic Payment; to comply with information storage, reporting, and disclosure obligations stipulated by the legislation and other authorities,
• To provide information to prosecutors, courts, and relevant public officials upon request and as required by legislation, in matters related to public safety and legal disputes, in accordance with the PDPL No. 6698 and related secondary regulations.

Information about Third Parties or Organizations to Whom Your Personal Data May Be Transferred:

The persons or organizations to whom your personal data you share with www.find-myparts.com may be transferred for the above-mentioned purposes are: our main shareholders, our direct or indirect domestic affiliates; mainly Sellers and Customers using the company’s e-commerce infrastructure, and other 3rd parties, including but not limited to, individuals and organizations related to the service offered, organizations with whom we receive services as Data Processors, cooperate, and are program partners, in order to carry out our activities.

Your personal data is collected:

• Through forms on the Company’s website and mobile applications, and through the websites of Member Companies that cooperate with the Company, such as name, surname, Turkish ID number, address, telephone number, work or private e-mail address; preferences on pages logged in using username and password, IP records of transactions performed, cookie data collected by the browser, data including browsing times and details, and location data,
• Verbally, in writing or electronically through our sales and marketing department employees, agencies, dealers, paper forms, business cards, digital marketing, and call center channels,
• From individuals who share their personal data in order to establish a commercial relationship with the Company, apply for a job, submit an offer, etc., such as business cards, resumes (CVs), offers, and other means, in a physical or virtual environment, face-to-face or remotely, verbally, in writing or electronically,
• In addition, data obtained indirectly from different channels, data obtained from websites, blogs, competitions, surveys, games, campaigns, sweepstakes, and similar (micro) websites and social media, e-newsletter reading or click movements, data offered by public databases, and profile and data shared from social media platforms (Facebook, X (Twitter), Google, Instagram, TikTok, Telegram, Snapchat, LinkedIn, etc.) can be processed and collected.

Your Personal Data Obtained Before the PDPL Entered into Force:

Your personal data that was obtained legally before April 7, 2016, the effective date of the PDPL, through membership, electronic communication permission, purchase of products/services, and other means, is also processed and maintained in accordance with the terms and conditions set out in this document.

Storage and Protection of Personal Data:

Your personal data will be stored confidentially in the database and systems located within the Company in accordance with Article 12 of the PDPL; it will not be shared with third parties in any way except for legal obligations and the regulations specified in this document.

The Company is obliged to take software measures such as encryption, transaction recording, access management, and physical security measures to prevent unlawful processing of personal data in accordance with Article 12 of the PDPL, to prevent unauthorized access, and to ensure their protection for the systems and databases where your personal data is hosted. If it is learned that personal data has been obtained by others through illegal means, the situation will be immediately reported in writing to the Personal Data Protection Board in accordance with the legal regulation.

Keeping Personal Data Up-to-Date and Accurate:

In accordance with Article 4 of the PDPL, the Company has an obligation to keep your personal data accurate and up-to-date. In this context, in order for the Company to fulfill its obligations arising from the applicable legislation, our customers must share their accurate and up-to-date data or update it through the website / mobile application.

Rights of the Personal Data Owner under the PDPL No. 6698:

Article 11 of the PDPL No. 6698 entered into force on October 7, 2016, and in accordance with the relevant article, the rights of the Personal Data Owner after this date are as follows:

• To learn whether personal data has been processed,
• If personal data has been processed, to request information regarding this,
• To learn the purpose of processing personal data and whether they are used in accordance with their purpose,
• To know the third parties to whom personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,
• To request correction of personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,
• To request the deletion or destruction of personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the PDPL,
• To request that third parties to whom personal data has been transferred be notified of the correction, deletion, or destruction of personal data,
• To object to the occurrence of a result against the person himself/herself by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
• To demand compensation for damages in case of damage due to unlawful processing of personal data.

The Data Controller Representative to be appointed by the Company will be announced in the Data Controllers Registry and on the internet address where this document is located when the legal infrastructure is provided.

The Company may provide a positive/negative response to the requests submitted to it, in writing or digitally, provided that it is reasoned and within 30 days. It is essential that the necessary procedures for requests are free of charge. However, if the procedures require a cost, the Company reserves the right to charge a fee. These fees are determined by the Personal Data Protection Board according to the tariff determined in accordance with Article 13 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data.
